VSC "maint" account locked for long time after 3 unsuccessful attempts | ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere

 

Netapp VSC /OTV will lock maint user after 3 unsuccessful login attempts.


Solution:

The maint account is locked after 3 failed attempts, to prevent brute force attacks.

It will get unlocked after 15 minutes, since the last login attempt
