Installing VCSA 6.0 -Vcenter Server Appliance  1. Mount the VCSA 6.0u3 Software (preferably 6.0u3c and above ,as there is a client integration software issue) 2.Go to vcsa folder and install  VMware-ClientIntegrationPlugin-6.0.0.exe 3. O pen the  vcsa-setup.html  in the root of the ISO using IE browser preferably. 4. This will launch the vCSA installer splash screen: 5.Now proceed with normal installer steps

1. Point your web browser to your vCenter server:  https://your_vc_server/mob  and login. 2. Click on content 3.Locate and click on ExtensionManager 4.Find the plugin and  Click on the plugin you are interested in removing 5.Get the tring ID of the plugin. 6. click on " UnregisterExtension " and enter the string ID  and InvokeMethode. 7.Now   restart your vSphere Client to see that the plugin has now been removed.

Login to Vcenter server   select esxi host and configuration   System-Advanced config: edit parameters: Security.AccountLockFailures.  Maximum number of failed login attempts before a user's account is locked. Zero disables account locking. Security.AccountUnlockTime.  Number of seconds that a user is locked out.

How to forcefully remove inactive datastore from esxi Login to esxi with root. List the datastores:          esxcli storage filesystem list Remove the inactive datastore:         esxcli storage nfs remove -v <Datastore name>

     How to Enable the Recent Tasks from webclient Once you close the recent task ,we can enable back again the recent tasks from webclient home with below steps. 1.Click on the logined user name on the right top. 2.Select layout settings option. 3.Click the "recent tasks " option. now you will see the recent tasks listed down the page.
